We are seeking experienced Auto Painters to join our team in Fiji. The selected candidates will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicle surfaces while ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance.
Prepare and clean vehicle surfaces before painting
Use a wide range of tools including power tools and hand tools for surface preparation
Remove rust, dirt, and other debris from surfaces to be painted
Fill cavities and dents to create a smooth and even surface
Mask or tape off vehicle components to prevent contamination and ensure clean paint lines
Mix paints to achieve the required color, shade, and texture
Perform finishing repairs by grinding, filling, painting, or polishing
Inspect vehicles after repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns
Rub down surfaces between coats for smooth finishing
Touch up defective areas on painted vehicles
Use infrared and high-heat lamps to accelerate the drying process
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow all workplace safety and health regulations
Order painting supplies and maintain inventory
5 – 6 years of relevant work experience in auto painting
Ability to communicate in English and Hindi
Must demonstrate experience in two or more key tasks listed in the job description
Positive attitude toward work and self-development
Reliable, honest, and ethical work practices
Punctual and willing to work extra hours when required
Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
Salary: $6.50 – $7.00 per hour
