Job Description
We are looking
for an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic with Hydraulic Experience to
join our team in Fiji. The selected candidate will perform maintenance,
diagnostics, and repair work on light vehicles and hydraulic systems while
ensuring safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Perform routine maintenance on light vehicles
(Oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections)
🔹 Diagnose and repair mechanical and
electrical issues in vehicles
🔹 Inspect and test vehicle systems to ensure
proper functionality
🔹 Conduct regular inspection of hydraulic
systems to detect potential problems
🔹 Interpret hydraulic system design plans
and blueprints
🔹 Identify faults in hydraulic equipment and
systems
🔹 Carry out maintenance and servicing of
hydraulic machinery
🔹 Replace or repair damaged hydraulic
components
🔹 Test repaired vehicles or hydraulic systems
to ensure proper performance
🔹 Maintain records of maintenance and repair
work
🔹 Keep the workshop clean, organized, and
safe
🔹 Communicate effectively with clients and
team members
🔹 Follow workplace safety standards and
protocols
Requirements
✅ 5 – 6 years of relevant work experience
✅ Ability to speak English and Hindi
✅ Must demonstrate experience in at least
two or more key tasks listed in the job description
✅ Positive attitude towards work and
self-development
✅ Honest, reliable, and ethical work
practices
✅ Punctual and willing to work extra hours
when required
✅ Ability to work independently or as part
of a team
✅ Capable of handling multiple tasks in a
high-pressure environment
